Investment Readiness Programme 2022

Indielab South Yorks Games Accelerator is run in partnership with TEAM SY, a project part-financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund and delivered in partnership with Barnsley Council and Capital Enterprise.

Registration is open for the Investment Readiness Programme 2022.

Working with leaders, major studios and organisations across the sector, we bring you an investment readiness programme to drive growth and success for your company, and accelerate your potential as emerging talent in the sector.

The programme is designed for games developers, and for games technology and service providers (those who are supporting the games sector, creating middleware and developing their own IP).

With increases in revenue growth, combined with an unparalleled networking opportunity and multiple funding and investment deals closing, our attendees to on to achieve great things.

Each company accepted onto the programme will have access to a free virtual office in South Yorkshire and will be allocated two places at all of our bespoke masterclasses, events and workshops in the critical areas you need to seek and secure project finance or investment.

on the Investment Readiness Programme you will:

  • discover the current range of funding available to grow your business, both equity and project finance;

  • discuss what those funders are looking for and which option might be best for your growth plan;

  • talk to companies that have received investment, and learn how they went about it;

  • learn how to prepare your company for the process of seeking investment;

  • explore how to pitch your company to get results.

For those companies that decide to do so, in December there will be a chance to pitch for investment at our investor showcase event, with carefully selected trade and financial investors and publishers from across the games industry. Many of our participant companies have gone on to secure funding or investment with our broad base of industry partners.
